The Second Forum of Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District Was Successfully Held

From 7 to 8 September 2022, the Second Forum of Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District, co-hosted by Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District (MSRCLD) Leading Group and International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) was successfully held in Xiamen of Fujian Province.

With the theme of "Building a higher level of the MSRCLD, and striving to promote the building of a strong province of the rule of law in the new era", this forum aimed to continue to promote the building of the MSRCLD into a world-class destination for legal services based in Fujian Province, allowing its influence to reach out beyond the Taiwan Strait and onto a global scale. CUI Yonghui, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, Secretary of CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee delivered a welcome speech. YANG Wanming, Member of CPC Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), YANG Chunlei, Member of CPC Party Leadership Group and Vice Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and KE Liangdong, Member of CPC Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade attended the forum and delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. YIN Li, Secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial People's Congress delivered remarks at the opening ceremony.

LUO Dongchuan, Deputy Secretary of CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, Head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of CPC Fujian Provincial Committee presided over the opening ceremony and the main forum, LI Weihua, Member of the standing Committee, Head of the commission for Political and Legal Affairs of CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee presided over the closing ceremony, and LI Jiepeng, Deputy of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of CPC Fujian Provincial Committee in charge of daily work made a closing speech.

The forum was held in a combination of online and offline format, and was broadcast live simultaneously through the ICDPASO Wechat video channel, ICDPASO Weibo video, and Xinhua Silk Road.
