Nepal’s Ambassador to China H.E. Shrestha and His Delegation Visited the ICDPASO Secretariat

On August 27, 2022, His Excellency Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, Ambassador of Nepal to China, visited the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) and had a cordial meeting with Secretary-General LIU Chao.

Dr. LIU Chao extended his welcome to H.E. Ambassador Schresta and his delegation. He introduced the founding background and development of the ICDPASO, and the progress made in providing dispute prevention and resolution services for global business entities. He hoped that ICDPASO and the Embassy of Nepal in China would further strengthen communication and cooperation to help Nepal build law-based, internationalized and facilitated business environment and promote the implementation of Nepal Trade Integration Strategy (NTIS).

H.E. Ambassador Shrestha noted that ICDPASO plays an active role in global economic governance. He looked forward to a comprehensive cooperation and exchange with ICDPASO in the future, and believed that ICDPASO will contribute significantly to Nepal's deep integration into the global trading system and improve its international competitiveness.
